Libby Pritchard

Health and Safety Consultant

Libby Pritchard is a health and safety consultant, conflict management practitioner, and keynote speaker with deep policy and operational experience across the mining, cement, and heavy industrial sectors. Through Libby Pritchard Consulting, she partners with companies to strengthen safety culture, team communication, and Total Worker Health—focusing on practical, human-centered approaches to stress, fatigue, and frontline mental well-being.Libby brings a combination of plant-level operational experience, commercial leadership, and national regulatory insight to NLA. She began her industry career directing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) for Wildish Sand and Gravel, a family-owned aggregates operation in Eugene, Oregon, leading on-site MSHA inspections, environmental monitoring, and community relations. She later served concurrently as Director of Occupational Health, Safety, and Sustainability for the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) and Director of Construction Materials Safety Policy for the Portland Cement Association (PCA, now the American Cement Association), working closely with MSHA and national task forces. Prior to founding Libby Pritchard Consulting spent time in executive commercial leadership as Senior Director of Sales & Business Development at Specialty Granules (SGI).

Libby holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Juniata College and two Master of Science degrees from Oregon State University in Geography and Water Policy & Management. She is a former three-time collegiate All-American volleyball player and resides in Corvallis, Oregon, with her family.
