NLA has two types of membership: Regular members (quicklime producers in the U.S. and Canada), and Associate members (suppliers to the lime industry).

Associate Membership (Suppliers to Lime Producers)
Benefits Include:
- Invitation to NLA’s Annual Meeting, which is attended by lime industry CEOs, other senior management, and technical experts from the lime industry.
- Networking opportunities including receptions, tours, and a golf tournament during the Annual Meeting.
- Complimentary 10’x10′ exhibit space at the Annual Meeting with table, 2 chairs, Wi-Fi, and electric power.
- Two Associate Members may volunteer to serve with Regular Members on the Annual Meeting’s Program Committee. The Program Committee plans the program and solicits presentations and papers from equipment manufacturers, Associate Members, member lime companies, and lime industry customers. All presentations and papers are distributed to meeting attendees.
- Access to the “Associate” (suppliers to the lime companies) area of the NLA web site. This area includes:
- Member Directories of U.S. & Canadian lime company members, Associate members, and Affiliate (foreign) members; and
- A link to the current and archived LIMElites newsletters.
- Associate members are identified on the public portion of NLA’s website (www.lime.org) with your company’s contact information and website link in the Suppliers to the Lime Industry section.
- Receipt of LIMElites, NLA’s bi-monthly newsletter containing articles on legislation, environmental and health and safety regulations and policies impacting the lime industry, and an Associate Member profile.
- As many individuals from your company as you designate will receive LIMElites by e-mail. This newsletter is distributed to all NLA members and includes a list of Associate members at the end of each edition.
- Your membership is announced in the LIMElites issue following your enrollment and includes an article describing your company’s products and services.
- Discounts on publications and technical materials.
The cost of Associate Membership is $7,500 for the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Our by-laws require that an Associate Member be voted on by the Board of Directors.
